Commander Terry Locke called the meeting to order at 6:03 pm. There were 35 members present.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chaplain Eddie Rogers offered the opening prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>READING OF THE MINUTES: Adjutant Metheny read the minutes from June 1<sup>st<\/sup> 2021 meeting and were approved as read. &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FINANCIAL REPORT: Finance Officer Donny Walters submitted the financial report and it was made part of these minutes by attachment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NEW MEMBERS AND GUESTS: State Commander Larry Kersey,&nbsp; Senior Vice Commander Lanny Culver and Middle TN&nbsp; John Davis.&nbsp; David (USAF) transferred from the Franklin Post to Post 19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>State Commander Larry Kersey swore in the newly elected Post 19 Officers for 2021-2022 and thanked Commander Terry Locke for serving this past year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Post Commander:&nbsp; Eddie Ables<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First Vice Commander: Gene McShane<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second Vice Commander: Robert Chapman<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Third Vice Commander: Diane Burgess<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Post Adjutant: Steven Metheny<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Post Finance Officer: Donny Walters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Judge Advocate: Calvin Cheek<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Service Officer ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19 met on July 6th, 2021.
