Americanism: Essay information will be sent to the schools/ Central Office by Teresa Lyle. She will also send scholarship information to the High School counselors.

Constitution/Bylaws: Beth McAdams (chair) reviewed to check on CSCC scholarship. Do we need to check into a contract with them? Financial Aid officer will be coming in the next few months.
Education: School Supplies have been bought and collected since August. It was decided to split what we have between Hampshire and Santa Fe Unit Schools to help replenish supplies for needy students and teachers.
Fundraising: Ideas submitted by members present:

Girls State: Information will be given to counselors in January by Charlotte Connors (chair). Noon Rotary sent a $500 donation – She will send a thank you from the unit.
Gold Star: A Blue Star flag will be given to Shea Lentz by Teresa Lyle. Her husband is currently deployed to Kuwait.
Jr. Activities:
Leadership: Updated Plans of Action are on the National website.
Mid-Winter Conference is January 10th at The Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. Jolene has our item for the Silent Auction.
Legislative:
Membership: We currently have 74 members that have paid their dues. Department shows 72.

UD & R:
VA & R: The VSO Pantry needs are listed on Facebook. Beth McAdams motioned that the unit donate $200 to be given for them to purchase immediate needed items, such as milk, eggs, etc. The motion was second by Judy Morton. Motion was passed – and Libby will write the check.
Announcements:
Beth McAdams has 3+ tubs of items that belong to the unit.She needs them to be stored somewhere else. JoAnne Ring will store them temporarily.
Large Pot: $25 won by: Teresa Lyle present Yes
**Teresa donated the $25 back to the unit.
