1) Jolene Thompson – $101.38 reimbursement for the Christmas Parade expenses (entry fee, materials, banner)
2) Ken Thompson – $161.00 for wood for the Christmas float

Chap – A get well card was sent to Luranne. Gail informed us that Judy Rodgers had passed. Also, Clara Ledbetter (former member) passed.

Cavalcade of Memories:
Children and Youth: Toys for Tots will be collecting toys until Dec. 5th. The VSO has a drop off location as well as Dollar Generals around town.
Fundraising for Shop with a Cop is Saturday, Dec. 6th – Pancake Day. Libby Moss brought up a possible donation. Judy Morton motioned that we donate $100 and Gail Gilliam seconded. The motion passed.

Education: Treats were taken to the Bus Barn during American Education Week. There was an article in the Auxiliary Magazine encouraging education activities. School supplies were collected and $60 in personal donations were collected. Teresa will shop using these funds.
Fundraising:
Girls State: Charlotte will be contacting schools in January to start interviews. Contact information is needed for Battle Creek HS since they now have juniors. Letters have been sent out asking for donations.

Leadership: Mid-Winter Conference is January 10, 2026. A representative from TN will be there to discuss fundraising guidelines. Lunch is $48 for lunch and 10 for registration. We will also need a silent auction item. The following will be attending: Charlotte, Jolene, Libby, JoAnne
Legislative:
Membership: We currently have 67 members that have been reported to department. That is 60.91%. Four more will be sent this week. It was discussed as how to get new members and how to get current members more involved.

Public Relations: Those riding/walking in the Christmas parade need to meet at 4PM at the Core Physician Building on Saturday, Dec. 6th.
UD & R:
VA & R: Libby talked with Mark Lewis (VSO Officer) to let him know that we could help with any veterans needs of $300 or less. He said he would contact her if a need arises.
25 quilts were presented by the QOV Ladies at The Factory on Nov. 8th.
On Veteran’s Day, it was noted that the Royal Family wore poppies.
