The Herbert Griffin American Legion Auxiliary met September 6, 2022 at 6:30 PM with 4 officers and 2 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Charlotte Connors and the prayer was given by Gail Gilliam in the absence of Unit 19 Chaplin Judy Morton. The Pledge of Allegiance and Preamble were recited by all members. We did not sing.

The Program for the month was Music and Gold Star. There was no Presentation. Next month the program will be Education.

Before the regular meeting began, President Charlotte installed Libby Moss as Seventh District President. Way to go Libby. Thank you for serving in this capacity. Unit 19 is proud of you.

The minutes prepared by Unit 19 Secretary Gail Gilliam were reported on the legionpost19.com website. Edie Owston made the motion to accept the minutes as they appear on the Legion Post 19 website, Marsha Robinson seconded the motion and it carried on the floor.

The Financial Report was prepared by Unit 19 Treasurer Libby Moss. Libby thought she had copies of her Treasurer
